Megan Townsend earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Coastal Carolina University in 2016. She then completed her Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation and Counseling at the University of South Carolina in 2023. Megan is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Dr. Tommy Vaughn.
Megan previously worked as a substance abuse counselor and she has experience working with the Department of Social Services, the Department of Juvenile Justice, and the Department of Corrections. Megan has worked with both adolescents and adults. She is trained and experienced in counseling individuals and families facing life transitions, dealing with relational conflicts, struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, and grief.
Megan’s approach to therapy is collaborative and holistic. The client’s mental, psychical, relational, and family well-being will be integral to the therapeutic process. Some goals of therapy include;

Julia earned her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Columbia International University in 2014. She then completed certificates in counseling through the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation in 2020 and is currently pursuing her certification in parent coaching through Connected Families.
Julia is a mom of three who has experience helping parents navigate challenging situations faced in the toddler years through young adulthood. She has worked with parents whose children struggle with anxiety, depression and self-injury, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, sensory processing difficulties, general defiance and more.
Raising children is incredibly difficult. Julia’s approach is compassionate and individualized to fit the specific parent(s) and child(ren). Her background in psychology enables her to help not only families with neurotypical children, but also those with parents and children wrestling with particular neurodivergent and mental health struggles.
The heart behind parent coaching is to give families a framework for parenting that they can adapt and apply throughout the changing stages of their children’s upbringing. Julia’s aim is for parents to feel equipped and empowered to continue their parenting journey with greater peace and confidence.
